TSL Plastics Ltd is a privately owned P.E.T bottle manufacturer based in Auckland and has been in operation since 1986 when it started operations with one stretch blow moulder producing bottles for the carbonated beverage industry in New Zealand. Since that time the business has grown substantially and today their machines produce a wide range of bottles from 50ml to 2 litre for not only carbonated beverages but also for water, alcohol and other beverages, for not only New Zealand companies and businesses but also for a growing export market.

Working with us

In addition to retaining a strong involvement in the soft drink industry as a major supplier of bottles we also have strengthened our association in this beverage sector through the acquisition of the soft drink manufacturing and contract filling company, Bevpac NZ Ltd, which is a major supplier of house brand soft drinks to the supermarket trade.

A natural progression into other beverage sectors began when TSL Plastics was involved with providing P.E.T bottles for the liquor industry. This began back in August 1988 when we produced the first New Zealand made P.E.T spirit bottle for Bondpak NZ Ltd (now known as Contract Bottling Co Ltd) which proved to be very successful. Since then our range of bottles for spirits has grown to incorporate 50ml miniatures, 375ml and 500ml flasks and 750ml and 1125ml spirit bottles together with a 750ml cordial bottle for mixes. An important feature of our involvement in this industry sector was our company engineering the development of the P.E.T flask in New Zealand which allowed us the opportunity of supplying the airlines with P.E.T flasks for use in their inflight spirit consumption. Replacing glass with P.E.T flasks allowed the airlines freight savings through the much lighter weight of P.E.T and also because of the breakability of P.E.T greatly improved safety.

Our involvement in the alcohol industry through opportunities as detailed above and also supplying cartons of bottles and flasks direct to the liquor retailers has allowed us to grow this important part of our business and today we supply a growing number of companies and businesses both here in New Zealand and overseas. The opportunity to assist smaller liquor retailers came about when we identified a requirement for the retailers to purchase smaller quantities of bottles because of size constraints in custom made cartons. Some five years ago we diversified further by producing a range of water bottles in sizes from 500ml to 1.5 litre because of an increasing demand from smaller water bottling companies. Today we have three different ranges of water bottles available which are proving to be increasingly popular and are sold both locally and offshore.

As mentioned earlier back in 1997 we had the opportunity to purchase Bevpac NZ Ltd, a soft drink manufacturing company who have since grown to be one of the major soft drink manufacturing companies in New Zealand and who supply house brand soft drinks to supermarkets and also contract fill for companies.

Because of the fact that we remain privately owned and a totally New Zealand company, we are able to focus on the demands of our customers and provide personal service and prompt business answers to all our customers both present and future. We welcome all enquiries from businesses or individuals looking for quality P.E.T bottles and personal service.
